Jardineira (AUv3 effect)

Concept : The app “Jardineira” will convert incoming singing voice to fine monophonic MIDI data using pitchBend. It works as AUv3 effect. Please check out the following system requirements. System Requirements: AUv3 host which has a flexible capability of MIDI routing (“AUM”, “apeMatrix”, “Loopy Pro”, etc) Headset (Apple’s “EarPods”, for example)  3rd-party instrument that has a functionality of pitchBend. Scheme: Voice in -> Jardineira (MIDI out) -> 3rd-party instrument Usage: One important calibration Adjust Jardineira’s pitchBend range to the same value as the one of destination instrument. There are 9 sliders. “channel” means the output’s MIDI channel “audio out” determines whether the input voice is turned on or off (default: OFF) “pitchbend range” determines Jardineira’s internal pitchbend range “transpose” transposes MIDI note. “input gain” means microphone’s input gain in dB. “latency” : the smaller the value, the worse the analysis. this trade-off ...

pOus (AUv3 instrument)

Concept: The app is AUv3 instrument that emulates the so-called “BassDrum” of analog drum machine. In addition there is MIDI OUT functionality of Envelop Follower, that is, the user can send out this instrument's unique envelop via midi CC for modulating external plugins. System Requirements: AUv3 host that has a flexible capability of MIDI routing (AUM, apeMatrix, etc) Usage: There are seven sliders & one button. Tune: BassDrum’s fundamental frequency (30hz - 160hz). text-editable. Decay: determines its duration. Amp: audio’s decibel representation. MIDI OUT: whether the functionality of envelop follower is turned on or off (default: off) MIDI Gain: gain amount of MIDI out Offset: balances the output parameter’s value MIDI CC: determines the destination MIDI CC number. text-editable Button: triggers the instrument. Recommended Scheme: drum machine (MIDI out) -> “pOus” -> audio effect (compressor, saturator etc) Support: If you have any questions, please contact me in t...

oVerlegato (AUv3 MIDI effect)

Concept: The app is AUv3 MIDI effect and works as “Legato” effect for MIDI instruments using pitchBend. System Requirements: AUv3 host 3rd-party MIDI instrument that has a functionality of pitchBend. Usage: One important calibration Adjust oVerlegato’s pitchBend range to the same value as the one of destination instrument, otherwise it becomes microtonal. There are two buttons & two sliders. “Legato”: it becomes legato mode only while pushing the button. “Channel”: determines MIDI output channel. “pitchBend range”: oVerlegato’s internal pitchBend range (from 12 to 48).” “Panic!”: sends all noteOff message. The rule of playing legato  It needs to sustain the first initial note while pushing “Legato”button until the legato sequence ends.  Scheme: oVerlegato (MIDI out) -> 3rd-party instrument Support: If you have any questions, please contact me in this site or < kajiisatoshi[AT]gmail[DOT]com >

vocalScriba (AUv3 plugin)

Concept: The app “vocalScriba” will transcribe incoming singing intonations to visual pitch graph. Usage: There are six sliders & one button. 1. Clear: clears the drawn graph. 2. Thresh: means input threshold, in other words input sensitivity. 3. Magnify: magnifies the screen horizontally. 4. Slide: slides the screen horizontally. 5. Out: determines whether the audio output to be turned on or off (default: Off). 6. “Voiciness”: it becomes less responsive to consonants with higher value. 7. Tuning: adjusts A4’s reference frequency in the range from 414hz to 467hz (default: 440). In the app the pitches are represented as follows: C -> C Cis -> 1 D -> D Es -> 3 E -> E F -> F Fis -> 6 G -> G As -> 8 A -> A B -> B H -> H Notes: The app is made exclusively for vocal or monophonic instruments. Specifications: Available range: C2 - C6 Compatible with the following sampling rate (from 44.1khz to 96khz) System Requirements: Works as standalone or AUv3...

shortReverse II (AUv3 effect)

Concept: “shortReverse II” is the advanced version of “shortReverse” which was previously released. The second has the same functionality as the first but resolves professional needs, that is, the problem of restricted buffer size (2^N). Now the user can freely adjust the buffer size from 256 to 65536 (in 1 sample unit). The slider is text-editable by clicking. Usage:  The user can reverse an incoming audio signal in real-time only while pushing the button. Note: Button automation in DAW is not supported. System Requirements: AUv3 host stereo output: just plug headphone/mic or audio interface. Support: If you have any questions, please contact me in this site or < kajiisatoshi[AT]gmail[DOT]com >
